Volunteer / Donate Opportunities

Your financial support** is essential to our ministry, whether it's personal, employer-matched, or corporate giving.

Checks may be made payable to Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries (or GWCM) and sent to:

The GWCM also receives monetary assistance from our many supporting firms and organizations (see our Supporters page).

You can donate food items at either pantry location:

330 E. Barber Ave, Woodbury or  

56 Elberne Ave, Colonial Manor

during their Pantry hours, or at a member Faith Community.

You could also hold a food drive in your neighborhood, or with your organization, or at your work place.

Items needed include:  Breakfast - cereal (hot or cold), pancake mix, syrup.   Lunch - Peanut butter & jelly, mayonnaise, tuna, canned soup.   Dinner - dried mashed potatoes, rice, pasta (spaghetti/macaroni), spaghetti sauce, macaroni & cheese, canned fruits and vegetables (greens, corn, carrots, beets, etc), juice, tea/coffee, crackers, pudding mix, cake mix & icing.

Other items to donate – hand soap, toilet paper, feminine products, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, shaving items, laundry detergent, etc.

Volunteering at the Food Pantries:

~ food shopping

You can also help by conducting a neighborhood or office food drive (see the list of items we especially need at this time on the Home page).

And please mention "GWCM and gwcm.org website" in your social media posts as often as possible.

If you would like to volunteer, rather than just showing up to help, please contact us first via email (contactgwcm@gmail.com) and we can give you guidance about what we need you to do and when we need you.
