Presbyterian Church at Woodbury
Organized among various churches in Woodbury, NJ, the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries, Inc. (GWCM) was founded to enable local social ministries to happen beyond the resources of any one of our faith communities.
We are an all-volunteer, IRS registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity, serving the City of Woodbury and the immediately surrounding NJ communities. This institution is an equal opportunity provider associated with the Food Bank of South Jersey.
GWCM's food pantries and clothing closet provide emergency relief services, primarily food and clothing. In addition, we offer guidance to clients in accessing government and other community assistance.
Besides our ongoing food pantries and clothing center, the GWCM has been involved in a number of other community projects over the years, including ecumenical worship services, Vacation Bible School, a high school Peace Essay Scholarship, a Children's Summer Lunch Box program, and a Handy Helpers program to assist seniors and the disabled with household chores.
